Bruce Peninsula, Ontario
Growing up, I heard many stories about my father’s summers on the Bruce Peninsula when he was a child. Many of his memories were centered on the tiny village of Dyer’s Bay, which was encased in fog when I visited, but the concrete pier from his stories was almost exactly how I pictured it in my mind. We took a ferry from Tobermory to Flowerpot Island, which was also shrouded in fog.
